• Treasurer Report:
  2017 budget approved.
  
  
• Delivery System:
  New libraries on board.

Warehouse fees being picked up by VTLib

Next part of subsidy from VTLib goes into effect, do libraries need to resign letter of agreement?

VTLib will be purchasing extra bins/bags, need to know details to process transfer.

GMLC Fee Change:

• Leave as is for now at .10 per checkout. Not changed since 2009.
  
  
• Bylaws:
  Public meeting law changed. Time to review bylaws to ensure compliance. Last updated in 2010. Ask Cindy to review for October meeting.
  
  
• Overdrive Analysis:
  Christian offered insights as to how the Upper Hudson Valley Libraries handled Overdrive. 29 member libraries participate and all directors do collection development within a given budget. All were required to attend a 2 hour training session before purchasing.
  
  Thoughts on future changes:
  Have Todd with OD talk with Selectors on Collection Development, include Advantage Members

Publish LUV procedures on GMLC (query libraries for already written instructions)

Provide outreach for lowest usage libraries on increasing use

Have an “air it out” GTM meeting for member libraries to brain storm how to improve OD

Look at changing loan period to 21 days from 7/14 – need to look at what this will do to holds

• VOKAL:

VOKAL Exec will be presenting at the NE Koha Conference in CT in November at the request of Bywater.

VOKAL will strongly encourage all member libraries to move to SIP for OD.
